StadiumGO is an innovative carpooling platform for sports and music events.
It connects fans to share rides, making travel more enjoyable and cost-effective.
The project required a comprehensive overhaul to address several key objectives:
My Role and Contributions
Design System Creation
I initiated and designed StadiumGO's comprehensive design system, defining components, styles, and best practices for efficient and scalable implementation. This system became the foundation for all interfaces, ensuring visual consistency and faster development.
Mockups for the Redesign
In collaboration with the product team, I created high-fidelity mockups for the platform's complete redesign. These mockups, designed for an optimal user experience, modernized StadiumGO's image and streamlined user journeys.
Design System Training
To ensure the design system's sustainability and effectiveness, I trained the internal team in its usage. This included hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and clear documentation to make the team self-sufficient in integrating and evolving the components.
Process
Discovery and Prioritization
Analyzed team and user needs to define the primary objectives of the redesign and identify critical pain points to address.
Design System Development
Progressive development of components and styles with regular validation and adjustments based on team feedback.
Mockup Creation
Designed UX/UI mockups with Figma, covering the platform's key pages and specific interactions to enhance engagement and usability.
Training and Documentation
Conducted workshops to guide the team in using the design system. Created comprehensive, accessible documentation to ensure long-term adoption.
Results
- A complete and well-documented design system used across all StadiumGO interfaces.
- A modern and intuitive visual redesign, increasing user satisfaction and engagement.
- A trained and autonomous team capable of maintaining and evolving the design system.
- A significant reduction in development time through the use of standardized components.
